I first entered the world of retail in 1994, and I loved it so much, I never left !

During my working career, I have held senior management positions with Travis Perkins, Benchmarx, Howdens, Magnet, B&Q and MFI.

As a consultant, I have also worked with many national chains, European manufacturers and sellers, and independent retailers.

Although I live in Knutsford in the North West, I have an extensive knowledge of the UK having lived in London, the West Country, the South East, and I am from the Midlands originally.

Also, I have covered all areas of the UK in my various roles meaning I have a very strong network of people around me nationwide.

I have an excellent reputation within the KBB sector, and this has been reinforced by my results.

Currently, I work as a business adviser and problem solver to companies in the sectors listed above, and help them move their results to the next level.

What sets me apart, is that I am equally comfortable with retail or trade businesses. I have also worked in all of the fields above, meaning I am talking from experience.

Many consultants usually have a strength with one or the other, whereas I can work with anybody, from high end independent retail outlets to national trade businesses.

I also write a regular column for the KBB Review, the trade magazine, where I offer business advice and support for KBB businesses in the UK. (I am also a judge for their annual awards)

I have also written articles for magazines in the USA.

Customer Journey Implementation - One of the most requested projects at the moment is from clients who want to map out their customers journey, from entering the showroom, to signing off. This is vital for any successful business.

I try to go to the gym regularly and I love my holidays ! A sunshine break is preferred, but I also try and get in at least one city break every year. 

A fun fact about me, that will make some of you very jealous, is that I was in the live studio audience for the episode of Only Fools and Horses where they became millionaires !
